Whenever I am in trouble or have problems I pray or read God's word and I find help.
I changed the theme of my blog. I tried to make another blog at another blog site. But I am having problems with it. They won't let me have a free site. I don't want to pay for a blog at a place that claims to offer free sites. Maybe they are only free for a little while.
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. ~James 1:19-20
"Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." Philippians 2:3-4
This maybe the hardest thing to do. But that's what The Lord done for us. He loved us enough to die for us. Knowing that I figure at least I can care for and help others who are in need.
" If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. " 2 Chronicles 7:14
Yes God will answer our prayers and sometimes the answers may be "no" or "wait"
"Forget what lies behind and strain forward to what lies ahead; I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14
Don't dwell on what used to happen and what you used to be. God has better plans for his children.
" I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." John 16:33
When we trust in The Lord and his word. The world has nothing to offer us.
"It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed." Deuteronomy 31:8
The Lord is always with those of us who love him, believe in him and obey his word.
"to follow the Lord and keep his commands, statutes and decrees with all his heart and all his soul, and to obey the words of the covenant written in this book.' 2Chronicles 34:31
"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing." 1Thessalonians 5:11
We all need friends to build us up and encourage us. But I was always told "to have a friend I must be a friend too." Luke 6:31 says " Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"
Yesterday I got some Christmas cards my Aunt sent me to mail to friends and family. They have my favorite animal on them. Cats!

We must have faith.
"Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world." 1John 2:15-16
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
"And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes." 1Timothy 2:9
We all need to praise The Lord at all times. I remember back when I still could dance. I would dance and praise The Lord in church. I went to a church (United Pentecostal) that encouraged praise and worship. Now I am in a wheel chair and it is hard for me to get up and dance. But I can still clap my hands. I am working with therapy and starting to walk with a walker. Praise God!
"Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.” John 14:21
" For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
Yes the Lord has good plans for those of us who love him and follow his instructions in his word The Bible.

Never give up on The Lord. He is always there for you. Anytime, everywhere. God doesn't abandon his children.

Yes my home is an Assisted Living (ALF). It's sort of like a nursing home but we do more things for ourselves. I have my own room here at https://www.willowcreek-alf.com This is my home. I also come out of my room to eat ,exercize, play games and do crafts. Sometimes I leave the building with my friends to go shopping ,bowling , or get my hair done. This coming Saturday some of us are going down to the park to feed the ducks .
