About Me

Who Am I ?

My name is Michelle Pelky. I live in northern Florida but I was born , raised and spent most of my life in northern Michigan in the Traverse City and Interlochen areas. I am retired and no longer work but I used to work a few jobs including house keeping, factory work and working in a department store as a stock girl and cashier until my accident back in 2010. I am a Christian and my favorite animal is a cat. I do like other animals to like dogs, rabbits and horses. I do not like snakes or spiders. I have one sister named Cindy who lives in Michigan. My favorite color is blue and my favorite food is lasagna.

Fear not

 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. ~Isaiah 41:10

Whenever I am in trouble or have problems I pray or read God's word and I find help.

New theme

 I changed the theme of my blog. I tried to make another blog at another blog site. But I am having problems with it. They won't let me have a free site. I don't want to pay for a blog at a place that claims to offer free sites. Maybe they are only free for a little while.

Do not Sin

 Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. ~James 1:19-20

Put others before ourselves

 "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." Philippians 2:3-4

This maybe the hardest thing to do. But that's what The Lord done for us. He loved us enough to die for us. Knowing that I figure at least I can care for and help others who are in need.

God answers prayer

" If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. " 2 Chronicles 7:14

Yes God will answer our prayers and sometimes the answers may be "no" or "wait"

Forget the past

Don't dwell on what used to happen and what you used to be. God has better plans for his children.
